Notosha's Mom
"When I think of my mother or "mommy" as I affectionately call her, I think of a strong woman who has weathered many storms with dignity and grace. She grew up with five brothers and three sisters and yet managed to be the shyest one of them all. She inspires me on a daily basis to be the best that I can be and to help others like many have helped us along the way. She managed to give me two of the greatest gifts anyone could ask for, my brother and my sister. I often sit back and wonder how she was able to raise three kids on her own; not fully aware, as a kid, of her struggles to put on a brave face and keep it all together. She has spent the majority of her life taking care of us, especially my extremely ill sister; but Im sure if she were here today, she would echo my sentiments and say a heartfelt "Thank you Mom...for everything!"
"Despite lifes challenges, her unwavering faith in Jehovah has helped her...helped us through this rocky road we call life. Now that she is finally a grandmother, she gets to watch everything that she has instilled in us, come full circle. She is the most loving, caring, kindest, and meek woman I've ever known. She is truly the reason I can make every day, Mother's Day.
