Ashley Jones
Ashley Jones is a triple threat. She's a classic beauty, a great actress, and an entrepreneur. You recognize her from the hit HBO series True Blood and now she is giving the world a reason to think about her when their head hits the pillow at night. There's no sign of Ms. Jones slowing down anytime soon.
CMO - We loved you on True Blood as Daphne! It's so different from The Bold & The Beautiful. How was the "True Blood" experience?
AJ - One of the best experiences of my career thus far.
CMO - Aside from the comedy Old School, have you considered taking on any more comedic roles?
AJ - Yes! I would do so in a second. I hope it happens sooner than later actually. In all honesty, it's where I feel most comfortable.
CMO - What actor and/or actress would you like to work with in the future?
AJ - So many....I love Glenn Close on FX's Damages right now. And if I could work with Clint Eastwood that would be a dream come true. I'm impressed with Tina Fey too.
CMO - What new projects can we expect from you in front of and behind the camera?
AJ - My business partner, Karen Barber, and I recently launched Beauty Silkz, a 100% silk charmeuse pillowcase. It greatly helps your skin and hair to sleep on silk instead of cotton. That's been exciting. I'm writing and developing a sitcom, too.
CMO - Now, we've seen you as a brunette and a blonde, which is your favorite?
AJ - Hmmm....which one is my favorite? I like them both for different reasons. Right now, I like the blonde. But, I'm sure I'll go back to brunette one of these days. For a part, perhaps.
CMO - What hair products do you use for your hair?
AJ - The only consistent one is Beauty Silkz. My hair is processed and dry from the color. The pillowcase improves it a great deal. It cuts down the frizz, helps it from falling out (I used to wake up with hair on my pillowcase, but I don't now), and actually maintains the moisture so it doesn't dry out by morning.
CMO - Speaking of hair, you have a new product out called, "Beauty Silkz." Tell us about that.
AJ - Well, I've already gone on and on about it....we developed the product out of our on personal desire, so I'm obviously passionate about it. I didn't even realize the benefits of hair when we first started. That has been an interesting discovery. I really enjoy hearing people's feedback too. I consistently hear how they sleep better and wake up looking more refreshed. Moisturizing the skin is a priority on any anti-aging list. Beauty Silkz greatly enhances that step of a beauty routine.

AJ - I was just about to say you can read all about it and watch a short commercial on www.beautysilkz.com. We add to the website, too. So, keep checking it. I'm hoping to have some fun beauty tips and blogs soon.
CMO - What skin care products do you use?
AJ - They vary. Right now, I'm focusing on drinking more water and eating right. I'm into mineral makeup right now too. It's supposed to be better for the skin I hear...
CMO - What are three beauty products you always keep in your purse?
AJ - Concealer, lipsick/gloss/balm and eye liner for the top rim of my eyes.
CMO - What physical feature of yours do you get the most compliments?
AJ - If one more person compares me to Angelina Jolie, I'm gonna scream.
CMO - What inner beauty do you possess?
AJ - Well, let me read off my list....kidding. And I was kidding on the question above, too. You know, I don't know. I'd like to possess peace, patience and kindness. I'll keep working on those things.
CMO - What is the most beautiful thing about a man?
AJ - His heart.
CMO - What was the last beautiful thing you saw with your brown eyes?
AJ - Hummingbirds on my back porch a few minutes ago.
